WELCOME 

The Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association welcomes you as we pay tribute to the service and sacrifices of the brave men and women of our armed forces.   The Delaware County Veterans Memorial is intended to honor our veterans past, present and future – for defending our right to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,” set forth in the Declaration of Independence.   

The Memorial is comprised of seven elements: The Circle, The Eagle, The Pedestal, The Fountain, The Wall of Prayers, The Colonnade and the inscription “Lest We Forget.”  Each element symbolizes a different theme honoring our servicemen and women. 

It is our intention that the Memorial serve as a place to learn about war and conflict in U.S. history; a place to reflect upon bravery and sacrifice; and a place to honor those who serve to defend our rights – yesterday, today and tomorrow.
